Executive Director
Chiara Rosselli is Executive Director at APROPOS-Advancing Process in Politics. She is a senior process designer and facilitator. She is the head of the Open European Dialogue and since 2016 she has been leading efforts to innovate the way we think of and design political conversation spaces and political collaboration tools. She serves as lead mentor for Veracura Social Impact Accelerator and is Vice-president of Sistema Italia Adaptive Leadership Association.
Managing Director
Isotta Ricci Bitti is Managing Director at APROPOS-Advancing Process in Politics and has extensive expertise in designing and facilitating political dialogues and policy workshops. Thanks to her background in International Relations and European Affairs, she has been supporting policymakers who want to tackle complex policy issues with innovative dialogue tools and processes. She is the Deputy Head of the Open European Dialogue, Europe's first dialogue platform for policymakers who want to connect across borders and party lines. Prior to that, she worked as a research analyst at the European Stability Initiative focusing on migration and asylum policies across the EU and Turkey and on the implementation of human rights monitoring mechanisms in the countries of the Council of Europe.
Position Associate
Description Rebecca Farulli is a foresight and knowledge management researcher with experience in think-tanking and public administration. She is passionate about knowledge processes for policymaking, resilience strategies and cutting-edge security issues. She is specialized in anticipatory governance, public sector reform and institutional-driven innovation. Rebecca has worked for the European Commission, the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the German Institute for International and Security Affairs (SWP), and the Social Science Research Center Berlin (WZB). She is an affiliate of the Young DGAP, the Youth Munich Security Conference with EuropNova and author at the Cologne Forum for International Relations and Security Policy (KFIBS). She is also involved with Staat-up, a project promoting cultural change, agile tools, and strategic capacity-building for the public administrations in Europe. She holds a Master’s Degree in Security Studies and a BA in Philosophy.
Lead Process Designer and Facilitator
Peter is in high demand for facilitating dialogues and conferences related to the sustainable development agenda. He set up Quest Associates in 1995, which has delivered facilitation services to hundreds of clients on every continent. Peter covers interventions on a huge range of subjects and has wide experience of helping to bridge differing perspectives on challenging issues. He has a special interest and expertise facilitating dialogues and conferences related to the sustainable development agenda. This includes responses to the challenge of climate change; moving to a circular economy, future cities, eco-innovation to implementation, quality of life, social inclusion and governance issues.
Senior Process Designer and Facilitator
An international mediator, facilitator and coach, Mia has had careers in law and science. In addition to her corporate clients and former career as a solicitor in a top City of London law firm; Mia has worked with governments, religious organisations and Members of Parliament. She has advised the US Department of Energy on using facilitated negotiation to develop controversial legislation. Described as “a quiet storm”, Mia is trilingual. Educated in the UK, France and Belgium, she holds both a Masters of Law and Science. She has spoken at Chatham House on Conflict Resolution and hosted the European Commission’s Business Awards for the Environment. Recognised by We Are the City as an Inspirational Woman, Mia works with leaders on some of the most challenging issues of our time.
Senior process Designer and Facilitator
Caspar Kolster is a facilitator and process designer. He works with clients from the private and public sectors, as well as NGOs. His core expertise is in designing participatory, effective, and engaging processes, and facilitating meetings. Since 2019, Caspar Kolster is one of the founders and current director of APROPOS-Advancing Process in Politics, an NGO dedicated to exploring, applying, and spreading more deliberative and fit-for purpose decision-making processes in politics. He holds a double MA/MSc degree in European Government and Political Behavior from the Universities of Konstanz and Pompeu Fabra in Barcelona, as well as a BA in European Studies from Maastricht University.
